Re: giveseattle.org's video of "Not Moving to Portland"
Oh wow, that was brilliant. A great recording of the song as well actually... i wouldn't mind if the finished version didn't stray too far from this version.

Re: Songs for Eating and Drinking
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfHZzcKjV4M I think that's a fantastic rendition of the song. By the way, I guess most europeans would consider using salted butter a terrible thing. I don't like it, either. I mean, if I want salt in/on my butter, I can just put it in/on it... personally I have no ne...

Re: Bumbershoot 2009.
That setlist is way sweet. Hasn't it been a long time since they played Bride and Bridle?

Re: "Maybe it’s time to release a solo album"
Funny, i've often thought of how us danes (northern folks like seattle-ites i suppose) tend to be really careful about not offending anyone. It's sort of really nice but also completely stupid at the same time - trust me i've known plenty of people whose day you could ruin with the littlest things w...

Yeah... that's generally something that actually happens to people... outside of movies. We aaaalll know how that feels.

All i'm saying is splashy, foamy tub solos.

Re: Strange Places to Post From
Denmark created Legos. I will be forever grateful. I'm about 20 miles from the Lego factory and the original Legoland as we speak... which totally saved my childhood. I even had a brief stint as a test builder (get free lego, build lego, answer questions on paper, keep lego) - but i got dumped for ...

Re: Singing differently: How to make throat work better!
Yeah the original headmaster ritual is ridiculous, yodel-wise. I want to be able to do that. Then again i would also like to be able to sing the chorus harmonies in Stupid with just a hint of actual force but that isn't happening either.

Re: The Official Live at the Showbox DVD thread
I got the DVD about three weeks ago, and i find it to be a great companion and mood-lifter when the scandinavian winter gets to me. It only makes me long for an actual LW show even more (btw, why the hell did you cancel that Århus show last year? Not fair!). If the DVD indeed does lack banter and th...

Re: Strange Places to Post From
I am writing this from the small town of Jelling, Denmark - a former capital of Denmark and former home of king Gorm the Old and his son King Harold Bluetooth, who first forced christianity upon the Danes as an official religion. I suppose that is a strange place to post from, but nonetheless I live...
