unfortunatly, i found out about it at 11pm that night. i was so very pissed that i had missed john as santa, all i saw were the pictures from last year and the one on the board. i would love to shoot a video for that song dirty santa included. i guess i'll just have to wait until next year :(

does anyone else think that it is kind of like the "dirty santa" song. every time i play the cd (damn the o.c.) i get this image of john as naughty santa.

speaking of covers. anyone who didn't get to go to the kexp show or at least listen to it should really check out john and sean's cover of "the only living boy in new york" as well as a few others. it was wonderful, well at least listening to it via my computer was wonderful.

the kexp appearence from yesterday is awesome! i am listening to it now and it is making me so very happy!!

i have been to the "nice" part of tacoma and it is cute and quaint. infact i remember thinking that it would be a great place to explore.

thanks for answering my stupid question about the show. i had been listening to kexp and read the info and was still confused. tacoma does have a specific "scent".

does anyone have any clips of the new songs? lyrics are great but they totally change when music is added. also does anyone know if john is playing at the kexp show next saturday? i have been hearing about it all night but it wasn't clear to me who was actually playing. any guesses?

kamakazies!!! i went to axis (yes i know it is a yuppie belltown bar/eartry) for their kick ass...i repeat kick ass happy hour. you get $3 personal pizza's and kamakazies (much like different flavored cosmopolitians) and the drinks are wonderful tasting and strong...

Not to interrupt the very amusing banter, but I think Harvey might be kaput again because Sean is playing show (at least in Seattle) with a new band. Although it was rummored by a mutual friend that they are playing LA shows...I don't know just trying to be helpful.

Yes, I can't seem to get that cd out of rotation...it keeps calling me back. I guess I'm just a huge fan of "sad bastard-emo music" as a friend last night coined it. "Nothing Better" is one of my favorite sad love songs. Yet, I also think of "footsteps" by pearl jam as a love song. So there you go.
