WaveyBlue knows what's going on. I always buy from Grimey's when I'm in Nashville, which is the majority of the time. It really is a great store. When I'm stuck in southern Indiana suburbia (during the summer and on breaks), I either wait until i make my next trip to nashville, or I buy at Coconuts,...

That's interesting that you say that, because when I saw them last saturday, I would almost venture to say the Decemberists outplayed TLW, which I know might be blasphemy on this board, but they really had me floored. I didn't show up until after the Places had already played.

Hoobastank spelled backwards is "Knatsabooh" where the long winters is just something like "Sretniw Gnol Eht".

Nashville Show 6/19

I thought I had the entire setlist, but it looks like I'm a bit short. I got the whole thing up to Cinnamon/Cinnamon Girl and lost track. 1. scent of lime 2. stupid 3. carparts 4. blue diamonds 5. shapes 6. good girls (New tune. Bass player's choice. I really liked it. More of a straight-forward roc...

The Glands also put out some good summer listening, and I heard that they are coming here to the nashville area soon. Anyone else going?

A lot of my friends really like Death Cab, but personally, even after seeing them live, I just can't get into them. There are a couple songs I like, but as a whole, I guess I just don't get it.

I like the new destroyer album, as well as the aforementioned Modest Mouse, B&S, decemberists, and iron and wine. I also always get the urge to listen to Cat Power in the spring, for whatever reason. Not really having anything to do with the weather, I've also been really liking Apollo Sunshine, the...

World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). I'm not extremely familiar, but I assume from the comment they sell tapes of each match after its over.

Nora was interesting without the keyboard. They had a keyboard there, but they barely used it at all. What happened was John just started playing the piano part on his guitar and it just ended up sounding quite different, though not bad at all. I remember John even making a comment to Eric asking if...

I love making band shirts. I haven't done a long winters one yet, but I will eventually. I made a Moldy Peaches shirt using an old white t-shirt and a sharpie, because it really matches their musical style better than any other method. Front and back.

Yeah, I just heard about this recently. I think its a really cool idea, especially for those really special shows. I'd love to have a live long winters cd from a show I was at, full of John's loveable rambling as well as great music.
