"Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness, gaiety and life to everything. It is the essence of order and lends life to all that is good and just and beautiful."

Buffy
I know this is a little off the subject but up until a year ago, I thought that Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans were like trekies. I never understood how you could like a TV show sooooo much. Now that I'm hooked on Buffy & especially Angel, I have a completely new respect for Star Trek folks.

but anyways, back in late february or early march i was listening to KEXP and the dj (i forget who) said that "through with love" was going to be the name of the next long winters record. i was thoroughly surprised and have heard nothing to back this up since then. ! That means, theoretically, that...

Suggestions for the title of the third record?
I like "Laid Back and Proper."
I realize this is not a very Long Wintery album title. It's more of a Snoop Doggery title but I still like it.

If you had a say...
Just out of curiosity...if you had a say on what the new record would sound like...would you prefer more uplifting, intelligent pop music...or a return to the dark poetic, more industrial sound on the first record? Or maybe a brand new direction?

"I would argue that the future of our country hangs in the balance because the future of marriage hangs in the balance," said Sen. Rick Santorum, a leader in the fight to approve the measure. "Isn't that the ultimate homeland security, standing up and defending marriage?" I used to think that it wa...

hell, I think I'll join the gay marriage discussion instead, the abortion thing gets me down immensely Since we're discussing abstinence and birth control. Does anyone want to discuss the US's contributions to fight AIDS only if people are abstinent? Or how about the fact that the US will only cont...
