One GIGANTIC addition to the setlist... John at the beginning of the show asked for requests, so I yelled out Stupid. Well he did the same thing for the encore. I was plastered by this time, so I yelled "Play a cover", and he fucking played King of Carrot Flowers . Completely unexpected, and since ...

Thanks for the recommendations. I went with John's suggestion and bought a used Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb RI. It sounds fantastic and warm and breaks up early but still can get great clean tones. Then I saw TLW in Philly and noticed both John and Jon using the '65 Deluxe. They sounded great and made ...

Yup, I do believe I recieved "13 Inches of Snow" from BMG when I was a freshman in high school.

I'm quite ashamed to say I had that tape as well. Didn't understand a word of it, but listened to it nonetheless.

Great performance, short and sweet. Setlist: 1. Teaspoon 2. Honest 3. Fire Island, AK. Sounded good and the band was tight. I was hoping for more songs but I'm not greedy. I thought this was just going to be a replay of their appearance at World Cafe Live in September but was pleasantly surprised by...

Holy crap, I can't imagine the anguish when you first realized you taped over the show. Sorry to hear that, a SBD of TLW would have been a real treat. Thanks anyway for the effort, it is appreciated regardless. Now I must be patient in getting my grubby mitts on that DVD...

You mentioned earlier that I was checking my cell phone during the show as if I was bored and waiting for a call. John's post reminded me of last night's show. John's dad called his cell phone halfway into the set, and John proceeded to let the audience listen in. C'mon, John, don't be so hard on h...
