The Washington table is skewed by the fact that the Eastern three-quarters of the state is an arid semi-desert. Only the Coastal areas get much rain. Here, according to this amateur table Washington state gets just over half the rainfall Florida receives. According to some more official data, Seattle averages 33 inches of rain annually while Miami averages 57 inches of rain. You can look up your own locations, too, by way of comparison.
