Just got a chance to hear it....it reminds me a lot of The Faint for some reason. Did you ever find out who produced it? ugh! just started the new job today, didn't have time...and of course i'm running out of the house now...i'll look it up tmrw while i'm nervously awaiting the election results. a...

Great. I think I'm the oldest. No, actually...I think J-rod's older than me. At least, he'd better be. I can't handle this "grandma of the board" crap. ps: I adore Olivia Newton John's "Magic". For you young kids, it's off the Xanadu soundtrack. Surely you've heard of it?! Allow me: It's the 80's Bl...

God DAMN. I'm not sure if all that "swimming with the dolphins" i did in kaikoura was such a good idea after all. I mean, it was miraculous and life-changing and all, but the whole time, they're like, "and no sharks!". Well, what the hell does THAT matter if I'm dragged down to the depths of the oce...

Well boy, did I get it wrong! Eminem played it totally straight, but the SNL writers were surprisingly relentless. Actually, I take that back. The sketches/writing are so weak these days that Ashleegate was probably like manna from heaven, materialwise. (I base this on the memory of the Sinead O'Con...

Tonight's SNL.

I never watch SNL anymore, but I might tonight, coz I'm thinking Eminem is going to CLOWN THE PANTS off of Ashlee Simpson tonight. He already detests britney and cristina, but now he's REALLY got fuel for his pop princess fire.

Hmmm...

This is quite possibly the best costume idea ever.

(As long as you don't sneeze.)

Can u comment on it's construction? It's probably like Jenna's liver, only with a huge transparent bag instead of a black one, right?

I also must confess that I love No Doubt. Ever since that uber cheesy "Just a Girl" song. But seriously...who can resist a dancehall beat? Anyone? Is it possible? Oh! It was never the dancehall! Dancehall is to die for. It was...them. And of course the whole Talk Talk debacle just drove me over the...

No worries, AK...No Doubt's been chappin' my hide for almost a decade now, and yet, somehow, i find Gwen Stefani's solo single quite addictive. Most likely coz it doesn't exactly sound like her. The equation looks something like this: Song = No Doubt - guitar + synths - Gwen + Madonna. The lyrics of...

I'll need lots of pictures. And very small words...

Ahh, the post office. So divine it it's monolithic obtuseness...The only postage calculator with a setting for book rate is the "business calculator". Hmm. I can just go in and ask at some point.

Or maybe...maybe GRANT has an answer!

Grant always has an answer. No, really! Watch!

i think part of it has to do with exclusivity and what your site has to offer that others don't. We don't have a msg. board at Playing In Fog , but I know for a fact that our hits and reader involvement spiked everytime we had excusive pix or tix to give away or whatever. Also, you might be up again...

So, don't worry Squid you aren't the only one who thought about, but then thought it might be weird. How would this be organized? Should we list books we have and/or reccomend out of our collection then wait for interested readers? Yay! I'm not weird! At least, not this time... Yeah, I can't see th...

Hmm, it's one album later, but i thought the Lonesome Jubilee tour was one of the best shows I ever saw. (Of course, a lot of that had to do with Lisa Germano on fiddle, at least for me.) I'm trying to think of the cds buried amongst the cool, acceptable stuff in my car that have made people freak o...
