A melodica is the sound heard on Carparts, as played by Chris Walla.

Having stood behind Sam Coomes when Quasi played at SXSW I can report that the vintage Roxichord has bitten the dust and the Roxichord Approximator is in effect.

I met Kevin Horning on the first day of seventh grade at Wendler Junior High in Anchorage. Many years later we had a band together called The Bun Family Players. Kevin was/is a great guitarist and we wrote many songs together back in the day, most of which were never recorded. In (more than) Shapes ...

How Eurocentric Grant, I'm surprised. The 1740's were a fine time to be a samurai. And, also, a fine time to be a pirate.

Actually, that's not true. You do want to see us naked. Remember that. Yes to: us naked.

As for signatures, I say: more wheat, less chaff. Unless you have a wheat allergy or are on the Atkins diet in which case I say: No wheat, less chaff.

Yeah, Calvin Jones once hit on me in an abandoned Whoopie Pie factory but it wasn't so great. His beard was kinda scratchy and... oh, you said Calvin Johnson. Sorry.

Well, let it be said that it's quite easy to travel cross town now that Seattle has installed it's high-speed elevated Monorail.

But for the sake of those travelling by donkey, we will see to it that the show is held until every last monk and Sancho is in attendance.

Never leave a man behind!

I change my appearance as an act of Love. I believe in the immutability of the human spirit and yet I am filled with love for the many splendored forms that the fragile vessels of our bodies can assume. Hooray for the beards! Hooray for the silly nose-hoops and the great bay-window beer-bellies! I s...

Brian, that's a terrible story. Next you're going to wax reminiscent about Head East records. Or tell us about the K car wagon you inherited from your Uncle Ted. The Long Winters are about TODAY, man. Not some yesterday trip.
