Well all of the aforementioned locations still apply - except for the Kerouac house. It is definitely there - but it basically looks like every other house on the street with no sign or any other evidence that Jack lived there. A little bit disappointing. Definitely return to Urban Think - and buy a...

Where did you live prior to the FLA? I'll be in Toronto twice in the next month, PLUS Albright-Knox art gallery is one of the best Art museums in the USofA. I can almost love this town... you only almost love it LSJ? Where else can you stay out drinking Blue Light until 4AM then go to Pano's (or yo...

We have one of the largest ratios in the country, AND a 4am closing time. Take that most other states! Yeah I'm definitely with ya there LSJ..being a native Buffalonian myself. That city knows how to drink. And has an AMAZING arts and cultural scene for a city its size. When I tell people that they...

We'd dump her but we're codependent. Last week it was 70, today.... 42 degrees! All the daffoldils are murdered withered corp...

Yes...New Roman Times is about the only decent band I know of around here... and oddly (or not) enough they are always described as having a unique sound for Orlando. I guess that is because they are actually good.... Luckily there are a lot of non-local bands that come around these parts and play.....

Re: Lucky Chicago People

Ah come on c-dog, FMF isn't doing it for you? (note, FMF isn't doing it for even me , and I adore local music. There's maybe 3 bands there I have any interest in seeing.) Yeeeah...not quite doin' it. I have been disappointed with quite a few local bands I've seen here. But if you have any suggestio...

I must merely paraphrase with two words about inanity: fundamental christianity. So true. If you want some intersting reading material about fundamental Christianity, I recommend Rev. John Shelby Spong - he is a retired Bishop of the Episcopal Church and wrote "Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalis...

How often do you catch someone correctly using the blasted thing? Exactly!! Just like Satan tries to entice us into his evil ways - so does the semi-colon. Claiming to be the punctuation mark to end all punctuation marks - yet it is misused so frequently! There he sits, improperly connecting a depe...

I just started reading this also. I am quite impressed and a...
