AK, you're a posting tornado lately!

I thought about posting it there, but I don't actually own it so I didn't think it would qualify.

Shameful confession

I have a horrible confession that I just need to get off my chest and hopefully get some absolution for. It's a terrible sin and I hope I can be forgiven: I LOVE the song Toxic by Britney Spears. I can't get enough of it, and probably never will because I'll never bring myself to buy the song or the...

What a great name. I wish there was still Grapelade. Didn't I hear once that Cool-Aid was originally Coolade but had to change the name because the "ade" suffix was only for medicinal products?

cool. a rival board. they are so not invited to our treehouse. I declare war! Nononono no. Not rival at all. Our tribes can co-exist peacefully and I am the ambassador. I took squid's advice and am trying to help the site creator think of innovative ideas. One thing the site will be offering soon i...

There ya go! I marshalled some kind of defense! Thank you sir. I was starting to wonder if I am indeed an "ignorant" and a "dumb ass". I was feeling especially ignorant because I have no idea what a "belltone" nor how to "turn it up". I also found it suspicious that the first commentor had the same...

What makes this so successful.

As I've pointed out in a few recent posts, I'm working with someone to try to get more traffic to their indie site. One thing we've noticed is that although the main site itself seems to get a lot of traffic (e.g. within a day of a brand new reviews section being implemented, I've already got severa...

I think the Ldubs should do a live webcast concert a la Radiohead during the OK Computer era.

It's the review for Forever Changed...I'm glad someone replied to this post. I knew some of my board-buddies must have my back :-)

To make it easier, here's the link. Oooh, and now I have TWO angry readers.

please to link said hate mail, said the squid to the kitty... It's within the review itself. The review sections have a little spot at the bottom where people can post their comments. So if anyone feels inclined to defend me... Incidentally there is also a fledgling message board on that site that ...

I would agree with you, if my health wasn't involved. this seems to be a bit of a scapegoat for people. I don't think that it's so much a scapegoat as it is that it is relatively new information that 2nd hand smoke is as or more dangerous than smoking itself. That and the fact that society marches ...

I say we just have a smokers colony, kinda the way Australia used to be a penal colony. You guys can all just go and have your own continent and smoke till you vomit your black lungs right out of your body. In general if people want to kill themselves there's not much anyone can do to stop it, but i...

Grant is (as usual) correct. Parks wrote all of the lyrics. The project was begun in 1964 and then shelved. Good Vibrations was the only track that saw the light of day, but it was originally intended for "Smile".
