Are you sure it wasn't wampeter? As in Wampeters, Foma & Granfalloons?

Maybe we'll have to get together a group of people who are terrified of him and then all face our fears together and say hello at the next show.

I've never met a cold cereal that I didn't like. Seriously. Anyone had Reese's Peanut Butter Cup cereal? Peanut butter makes everything better.

You shouldn't feel bad. Celebrities are intimidating. Even local mini-celebrities. I've exchanged e-mails w/ John but I'm stil too nervous to actually say hi at the shows.

I think that's where amputees come into the picture.

Still... .5? That's a lot of amputating.

Re: Suicidal

I was 13 and the Suicidal Tendencies came to Anchorage. It would of been 1982-83. They played at at the Fairview Rec Center. I thought I was so punk rock. After the show the lead singer approached me (I was one of five girls in attendance) and asked if I wanted to go to a party after the show. I to...

I was at that show! That performance of Prove My Hypotheses still sticks out as the best.. The show is one of my favorites.. My first show was a concert, and that concert was NKOTB in 1992 for my 11th birthday. I didn't like it all that much. Yeah, I had a poster of Donnie Wahlburg on the wall by m...

Not at all, and my judgement might be clouded by the fact that to me, this trio thing is the most recent and I cannot really step back yet and compare more objectively. But I do know that even at the time when I saw the band with Sean, on some songs (by no means all) I felt that the keyboard parts ...

Well, one thing I've found is that every "tribute" album has at least one above-average track, and some are full of marvels. This is true. I've already busted out a Radiohead tribute album. Usually I'd say what's the point in covering Radiohead? But this actually has a fantastic cover of Fitter Hap...

Boo to the kids who come into MY work and act "too hipster for thou". You have to realize it's a lot of pressure walking up to the checkout of a Sonic Boom. It's easy to feel superior as you walk into a Wherehouse that's blasting "Toxic" because you realize that all the bands you like the punk behi...
