I *should* be there. It looks like I'll be making lots of trips to Seattle this holiday season.

I think the Ldubs should do a live webcast concert a la Radiohead during the OK Computer era.

If one had the means and wanted to...how would one do this?

Contact the Croc, or...?

I've heard great 'word of mouth' on Horses.

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of actually just doing a performance for a webcast as opposed to webcasting the Croc show, but now that you mention it that would be a brilliant idea too. I'm of no help as far as how one goes about it though.

I'd say you have to go through it with the artist before the venue.
Of course, John is so busy with his Halloween outfit (he will surprise everyone with his river otter suit, but he just can't get it to be as slick as it's supposed to be) that he probably isn't reading this...

I'd be as thrilled as a Jackson zombie if this came about. You are raising hopes with your 'if one had the means', Adam!

Assorted thoughts on the show last night:

'Stupid'accoustic duet with Eric was sweet...

New song 'Fire Island'? I can't wait 'till that new CD drops.

I hope new songs in the set list won't bounce 'Breeze' completely off

JRod's 5 o'clock shadow was pretty thick.

And 18-year old groupies listening from outside? Priceless.

OK, so last night's setlist:

Give Me A Moment
Fire Island (new)
Ultimatum (new)
The Commander Thinks Aloud (newish)
Stupid
Shapes
Cinnamon
It'll Be a Breeze
Mimi
Unsalted Butter

The first four were solo John, the rest with Eric on guitar and backing vox. The new songs were awesome, and I echo Adam's praise for Fire Island...wow. John said something about the new record sounding like the second half of Blanket Hog ;) Apparently we're looking at a possible spring release for the new album. I can't wait!

Wait-- this is important:

"groupies" or "young enthusiastic female fans"?

Is there a difference?

I know there's a difference between "Groupies", and "Band-Aides"...
