9am vs. Roderick
For shame Long Winters and KEXP fans!
Didn't anyone listen to John this morning on KEXP? I wanted to listen to the excellent new songs again and thought I'd find a link here. In case you missed it:

It'll only be up for a couple days.
Enjoy!

I don't supposed anyone would be willing to capture the uncompressed stream, FLAC it, and put it up at easytree.org, or something?
I would, but damned as I may try, I can't get any stream capturing utilities to function properly.
Great set, and the new songs sound way better than I expected (and that's a compliment!)

I streamed the uncompressed stream, and burned it with the Wav Editor that comes with the Nero Burning software I have.

Hmmm, perhaps I did it differently than how you want to do it. I connected a wire straight from the speaker jack on my computer to the mic jack on my computer, and burned it that way. I don't hear any difference between my ripped version, and the streamed version, but then maybe that's just me.
That indeed was a treat for all us late sleepers. Thanks a heap Grant for the coat tug. And darn it all, am I the only one to get those nasty clicks on my computer machine every ten seconds or so? Again some moments you can't save to disc or tape nor photo......maybe someday we'll have some home recordings from John.(a la Opel or the Madcap Laughs.....without the mental illness) So good to hear new songs. The mystery of what was left out on "Fire Island" entreats the listener to come to their own conclusions. Bait for breath. Good stuff.
