Peter Buck
I just saw that Peter Buck plays mandolin on Cinnamon. Has that guy played with every band that's ever existed? How did you guys meet up with him anyway? Does this mean your on your way to duets with Michael Stipe and by extension, Thom Yorke?

Very impressive. Not to detract from your deductive brilliance, but can the list be pared down to a mere six degrees, rather than the eight you have listed here?

OK, after doing some actual research on my lambasting, apparently both Tim and Tom Robbins were in 1 Giant Leap.
I honestly don't remember seeing Tim in it though, but if IMDB says he was in it, then he was in it.
Sorry about that! Next time I'll be sure to fact check before shooting anybody down.

plus
i am in the minus five, however infrequently. (we're working our way through paul mccartney's solo catalogue, with a special emphasis on "ram.")
john also performed with the M5 one time, playing acoustic guitar on "dead flowers" (sung drunkenly by me) after we opened for them one time.
i have also co-written songs with mr. buck.
i have never met kevin bacon, but i do like bacon.
another kevin bacon lineage:
bacon + meryl streep in "the river wild."
streep + charlie kaufman/spike jonze in "adaptation."
kaufman/jonze + stipe in "being john malkovich."
dude.

Wait wait wait... Tom Robbins the author? Tom Robbins, the author of such literary masterpieces as Still Life With Woodpecker and Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates?
...Fascinating.

ken stringfellow and grant lee phillips appear on Harvey Danger's KJV, GLB played at Peter Buck's wedding reception, Michael Stipe appears on one of GLB's albums (forgot the name, but it's the one that I don't really like, ahem)
