The Long Winters on Myspace

Post by matthewsturm »

I think Myspace is a fantastic promotional tool and The Long Winters should set up a page there...if they haven't allready. There you go.
I hope I posted this in the right section.

cheers

I know I'm not very hip and happening, but what's myspace.com? I had a quick glance and it seems rather much like Friendster. How does the music come in?

It's a lot like Friendster, from what I understand, but promotes bands too. It's like a mix between Friendster and purevolume.

For example, american analog set has a myspace account.

They have a music section thats really quite cool. Just click on the "music" link on the navigation bar, and you've got hundreds of thousands of bands to listen to, network with, and so-on and so-on.

I think it's a great idea and I hereby appoint someone else to do it.

If that doesn't belong on a Long Winters t-shirt, I don't know what does.

maybe it could be printed as a poster, cause these Long Winters posters are terribly off-topic (although I like the one with the weasel)

Yeah, I really need a local postal code, because I'm not from around there and put in 5 random digits.

I put up Cinnamon, Stupid, and Carparts for people to stream. I hope that's ok with you, JR, and everyone at Barsuk?

If you want to change anything/put up a newer bio/update me to as in who's the band/etc. shoot me an e-mail. I'll also link you up with the password, so you could feel free to update and add to it at will.

There's more now. I get two or three requests every six hours or so. And thanks!

I need everyone's help here, letting me know how I can make it look/function better. Any input/advice would be greatly appreciated. Short of putting up those fugly backgrounds and making the fonts hot pink, that is.

I'm going out to Quebec for the weekend. I'll be back Monday night or Tuesday morning. Hopefully there will be a trillion new friends and lots of suggestions when I return. TIA!

4.5 / 5

An otter would've sealed the deal, but the nearly non-sequiter context is admittedly delicious.

good action and cool poster.
I think the weasel is one the more underrated rodents, and a worthy companion to the otter

"Never tease a weasel,
this is very good advice,
for the weasel wouldn't like it,
and teasing isn't nice."

Be nice to the weasel. Look how cute he is! Look at that nose!
