the newest list from booking agency Toutpartout has the following concerts down as confirmed:
JOHN RODERICK solo (USA) (from THE LONG WINTERS)

09/05/06 : Borderline - London (UK)
10/05/06 : Buffalo Bar - Cardiff (UK)
11/05/06 : The Cathouse - Glasgow (UK)
12/05/06 : The Adelphi club - Hull (UK)
13/05/06 : Cavern club - Exeter (UK)
14/05/06 : Meze Lounge - Newport (UK)
15/05/06 : The Water Rats - London (UK)
16/05/06 : AB-Box - Brussel (B)
18/05/06 : Rotown - Rotterdam (NL)
20/05/06 : Tom Tom - Heythuysen (NL)
21/05/06 : Tivoli (De Helling) - Utrecht (NL)
22/05/06 : Den Hemel - Zichem (B)
23/05/06 : Oetinger Villa - Darmstadt (D)
24/05/06 : Gaswerk - Winterthur (CH)
30/05/06 : Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz) (ES)
04/06/06 : Primavera sound - Barcelona (ES)

all of these are with Centro-matic, Borderline is with The Gourds as well, and Primavera Sound in Barcelona is a festival.

EDIT: John had better rehearsed some of his slick rock licks for the Glasgow gig: Cathouse website.

and latest additions on the toutpartout website:
26/05/06 : Casa das Artes - Familacao (PT)
29/05/06 : Moby Dick - Madrid (ES)
30/05/06 : Cafe Poniente - Puerto de sta. Maria (ES)
31/05/06 : Teatre lloseta - Mallorca (ES)
01/06/06 : Casa del Loco - Zaragoza (ES)

I'd say it's time for a tlw.com update... no offense to Pullman WA, but that one show does look quite meager with a full European tour coming up.

this has long ago ceased to be the UK shows thread: another show mentioned on Toutpartout:

i noticed that the water rats show isn't showing up on the tour pages. does this mean that the borderline show is indeed john roderick's sole london show?

it look like that i'll have the chance to be in london for one of the two centro-matic shows, but i'd rather pick the one that has john on the bll as well.

yeah, i'm gutted, as JRod doesnt show up on a lot of listings where the 15th is concerned, particularly the mailout from the promoters.

i cannot make the borderline, i can only make the 15th.. but i quite like Centro-Matic, so this will have to do.

I find it terribly hilarious that The Long Winters will be in Spain this summer, and then probably in the US when I head to Spain this fall. ha!

I'm totally playing on the 15th at Water Rats. It's not listed on a lot of web sites because there's a growing concern that I will speak the truth to power.

the organizer's Track and Field website mentions support by The Broken Family Rock Ensemble. In my innocence I thought that made it clear that John will play. It even says that they play it LOUD and FAST, which fits the new rawk LW neatly.

funny, I always go to the board directly, and I'd almost forgotten that it is in fact part of the official site.

which was updated with the show information as listed by barsuk, and they haven't updated their listing yet with the shows which were confirmed later on.

try using your own site for that a little more, eh? I'd say we could all do with some truth here
