I think they should have 'the fans' pick the new keyboardist, via a panel of judges...

I'm thinking multi-instrumentalist Paul Carrack.

While I relish the thought of the Long Winters taking a moment out of their set to cover, "How Long Has This Been Going On?" or even, "Black Coffee In Bed", or EVEN "Living Years", (and don't think I'm being facetious, coz I happen to own all those albums, well, except for that Mike "+" the Mechanics one), I seem to recall one John "Svengali" Roderick warning us that any new L-Dubs shouldn't get their hopes up about their own material being used for band purposes.

What we need here is a musician with neutron-star-heavy chops whose "personal artistic needs" are being met elsewhere. And I think we all know who I mean:

Toto is still around. And playing in Japan in, like, two weeks. Not kidding:

(Whitesnake in a month, too. aren't you jealous?)
