That's what I always loved about Barsuk -- the free stickers and goodies that come with each order. It has really encouraged me to wait that seemingly never-ending shipping times between nations in place of going to the local HMV and buying a copy of the album on release date. I'm a sucker for freeb's.

I don't know your real name, but if you leave ask for stickers in the "user comment" field, you'll get some stickers.

Oh, you will get stickers.

AND postcards. Don't forget the postcards, Forrest.

Fuck yeah. I'm pre-ordering tonight.

Can I also leave a "Hi Forrest!" comment in the field?

I sure hope we'll have a cd-player in our rental car this holiday!
I can't wait to blast Teaspoon loudly while swerving around some sheep on a local Irish road.

i think i joined this board at a very good time. it's very fun to see you all in this excitement, especially since i know you'll find the album totally worth the wait.

I gave in! And ordered Rocky's 'Makers' in spite of the cut tracks (which hurts my heart) to get free shipping. I'm a sucker for those kinds of deals and you Barsuk bastards know it! ;)

Seriously, I love my free do-hickey's and whatchamacallits.

Which is why I have that Live to 2 track disc from John Vanderslice as well as a Barsuk coffee mug shipping with my order.

Man, it's been a good amount of time since I put in an order with Barusk. There's a couple of things that I really want, too. I need to get on that.

Damnit! My stuff already shipped. Oh boy, I'll be requesting stickers next time, even if they do send you some free anyhow.

They sure do. I got two different Long Winters stickers with my order of the first two albums.

Now if only they had a non-sucky LWs shirt on their. Eh? EH?!

Mine shipped today. I'm very excited -- that was a super fast turnaround. Let's just hope the postal systems keep them just as quickly.

talk about stickers....

i just got my preorder today and along with it no less than EIGHT! though, not a one of them has anything to do with the long winters. but EIGHT! that pretty much rules.

now to go make some coffee and try out my new mug while listening to some rock and roll.

woohoo! Nothing better to cheer a girl up after 14 hours in the lab than coming home to a nice big envelope in my mailbox complete with a talking dog, mega-stickers and other goodies...and of course THE CD :)

After a quick headphones session, my first-listen favorites are Pushover, Fire Island and Clouds...more later, it's another long day at work tomorrow, but at least that means I can listen to the cd and get some more well-rounded opinions.

Anyway, thanks Forrest/Barsuk crew for the treats and John & co for the tunes :)

HOLY HELL! I LOVE BARSUK.

They sent me not one, not two -- no, not even three, but FOUR posters; three of which feature the Long Winters!! Also, more stickers than I can shake a stick at -- and I've been trying. That stick won't shake!

The last two are opposite sides of the same poster. The third one is the WIPTF cover I've already posted a picture of before.

EDIT: I should note that I begged and/or guilt tripped them in the User Comments for some goodies, since I wasn't eligable for the Paste Mag subscription.

EDIT 2: The colours are actually much more vibrant than they appear here. The posters are beautiful, the cameraman sucks.
