They're also doing an instore at Easy Street Records in West Seattle @ 8pm the same day.

Huzzahs!

After last year’s “Ultimatum” EP, I suggested to Roderick that he had become a softie with some cuddly songs that didn’t pull as many knives on us as the debut record, “When I Pretend to Fall” did.

Has nobody heard The Worst You Can Do Is Harm?

So now we discuss which song is being made into a music video. I'm tempted to go with Pushover.

Personally I'd love to see a video for Fire Island, AK or Seven. I doubt the latter will happen. No real reason, I just don't see it happening.

Pushover is such a good song that it would definitely do the trick. I wonder what the "story" would be for it....

I agree -- Fire Island, AK and Seven are probably my favourites on the album. Fire Island would probably make the better single, though.

END OF SPOILTER ALERT

You probably should have left a bit of space, so people who didn't want to be spoiled would still be able to hit the reply button. ;)

But that's wonderful news. I, for one, cannot wait to see it!

i'll see if i can hit both of those in stores. try to win back my title.

speaking of seven...that song totally weirds me out because i used to know someone named seven...and he killed himself. so you can imagine how weird (or in a way not) it must be for me to a hear song whose chorus is "i miss you seven".

oh goodness, Fire Island is another of my favourites; just hoping the video won't clash with the picture that song forms in my mind. But maybe it will be as abstract as the fighting girls and icecream in Blue Diamonds.

i think it says something about this album that i have no less than four favourite songs which each one of them are seriously favourite until i hear the next and decide that i cannot decide between them. not to mention there are a couple of songs which only are less favourite because those four faves are just out-of-league. and then i'm not talking about the songs which are just really good songs but just lose out to all those favourites.

i had noticed the debut album thing, and this is not the first time it happened in interviews and reviews. Other than that it is a good interview though.

Here are my crappy photos.

Edit:
Eric did an amazing job on vocals. He's really helping to.. uhm.. round out the sound?
I don't know exactly what I'm saying, but kudos! He's doing fantastic. I also took a fairly awful quality video of pushover, but I'm not sure I'll be sharing that.

This one?

Or is there other Pushover videos?

This one is actually really good. Helps me get a good look at chords, so I should be able to throw a Pushover tab out in the next day or two.

EDIT: also, awesome pictures. It's a good time to be an LW fan.

Hah, I got caught. It's the first time I've ever used my camera to take video. The picture quality is sort of bad, but the sound is better than I was expecting.

About half of my contacts on flickr currently have LW instore photos as their most recent pictures. It's actually kind of neat.

The video's actually really good. Sorry for stealing it and posting it against your will. But I quite like it. I discovered my band uses the same synth! LIKE WHOA!

It's not a big deal. I learned a long time ago that if I didn't want people to see something, I shouldn't post it on the internet. Im sure I would've posted it here later on today.

Sean interviewing John or/and other way round.
And how come no one's posted the tour dates yet... Liesbeth better not find out it took us more than 12 hours to bring them up here when she gets back.

Sorry! I thought someone else would do it. I knew I should've done it last night!
