2006-07-22 Neumos Seattle Set List

Postby etreewin » Mon Jul 24, 2006 10:54 am

SORRY BUT THE DOC MAKERS ARE GOING TO RELEASE A LIVE VIDEO (WITH AUDIO OBVIOUSLY) THAT MAY INCLUDE THIS RECORDING SO CAN NOT DISTRIBUTE IN ORDER TO PROTECT COPYRIGHT......

Thanks to "unremarkable" for help with the set list via another thread.

One audience recording and one SBD recording (by documentary film makers) exist. Awaiting approval to share this recording broadly.

Let me be the first to say HELLS YEAH.

And although I'm sure you'll most likely share it on one of the lossless BitTorrent sites, I'll happily throw it up on my web server for HTML downloads. Pending approval, of course.

I'm pretty sure John has to write out an official public taping policy for us to be able to throw it up on the archive. But I would be happy to throw up everything that's temporarily on my own server onto the Archive for all to listen and love. Except the DVD. I'm still semi-hoarding that.

oh, i'm just saying that i'd kill for some bootlegs (especially this one) and having none makes me sad. on the contrary, finding flac bootlegs on archive.org makes me quite happy! so maybe john should allow such things (assuming he does not oppose)

Um.

Have you not been paying attention to my posts? I've put up three or four FLAC bootlegs this month alone!

[quote="longtimecoming"]where can u get the boots? quote]

Hey Folks,

These are not bootlegs which are unofficial recordings that unscrupulous people sell for their own profit. Never ever buy or sell bootlegs and always report the for sale bootlegs to the artist.

This is a live recording authorized by John R and the band who own the ultimate copyright.

It may not seem important but it is to the musicians who own the copyright and have to earn an income like the rest of us.

The documentary film makers may want to use the recording in their movie and I want to make sure John is cool with distribution of the show. If John authorizes release, I will ensure that everyone can get a copy that wants one....

I had one other show up at the same URL. It is currently up, but at a different address. There was also a "hidden" BONUS directory with another show. That one you'll have to find yourself.

I've been short all my life, so I'm used to it. Most of the time you can convince them to either let you get in front or move a little to the left/right.
