I don't think it has been mentioned yet - another German show has been added on November 20th in Dresden.

so yes, it's a full German/Austrian tour and they even play headline shows in the cities/areas of their Keane support shows. Very nice indeed.

according to their booking agent (puschen.net) the full schedule for Germany/Austria now looks something like this:

spex und gaesteliste.de präsentieren:

THE LONG WINTERS

31.10.2006 Hamburg (D), Grüner Jäger
01.11.2006 Berlin (D), Knaack
02.11.2006 Wiesbaden (D), Schlachthof
15.11.2006 Berlin (D), Tempodrom (w/ Keane)
16.11.2006 Offenbach (D), Stadthalle (w/ Keane)
18.11.2006 München (D), Orangehouse
19.11.2006 Wien (A), Flex
20.11.2006 Dresden (D), Scheune
21.11.2006 Bielefeld (D), JZ Kamp

and another date added:
24/11/06 : Trix - Antwerpen (B) (+ Danielson)

hope I can catch that show, I saw Danielson once before (as Brother Danielson) and that was weird but intriguing

Damn! I just found out about this Keane tour support business. Of course they've already been to Manchester and the whole thing is sold out.

I really must pay better attention.

I think the UK Keane tour sold out well before the support acts were even announced, apparently they have a couple of fans on their home turf...

Soon after this photo was taken, the candidate had a high profile sitdown with constituents from this working class indie rock district. He assured them that this was the year for their party to "Take Back the Rock".

c'mon, these are Keane kids, who are not used to guitars, remember. Of course they want a photograph with a man who has that powerful instrument.

Seriously though, the wave of amazement among Keanites now that Tom Chaplin actually is sporting an acoustic guitar for one song is sweet.
