What is up with Eric?

Eric used to be so pure and good. Now he smokes? Now he drinks? Now he says words that begin with the letter "F?" His hair was so short and his cloths were so bright. Did joining The Long Winters corrupt the poor boy? Please bring back the old Eric. I do not like the new one.

You obviously didn't know him very well. We're proud of him- he's doing really well and having fun. We never knew Eric to be a bright clothed/non-smoker/non-swearing/short-haired person in all the years that we've known him.
There is nothing wrong with being un-ostentatious like he was.

Are you serious with this? Damn Christain rock. He doesn't smoke much, drink much or curse much for that matter. What does short hair and bright clothes have to do with anything? He's not in Wham, he's in The Long Winters and it's not the band, it's American culture. He's not a boy anymore. He's becoming an intelligent, considerate and extremely talented man. So there.

Eric is an extremely talented musician doing what he loves to do. You should be happy for him. And he is still about as pure and good as anybody you are likely to find in this day and age.

Eric and I were talking in our room in Ottawa, Ontario Canada last night and I mentioned this post. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "Actually, being in this band has kinda mellowed me out."

Then he went back to his computer.
