shall we have a topic called American tour??

Talk about the band, the records, the shows.

Hey, you won't be alone! At least three of us on this board will be there. You should let something so very silly as not having someone to walk in the door with stop you from seeing this show!

Unfortunately, I also discovered this morning that I have a prior committment on that day to take my little sister to see "Wicked"-- tickets already bought. :( I don't even want to see Wicked, but I can't change it now. Add the Bears loss= Worst day ever.

:( I can't believe I'm gonna miss this show. It's unreal. :(

Not to mention Wicked isn't even that good. Saw it in December and was quite disappointed. The first half was just plain bad.

Yeah. What I've heard of the soundtrack is horrible. UGH!

Toronto reunion / tape party! This time I'll have enough money to buy a digital video camera and a tripod -- but then I'll return them two days later! MUAHAHA.

Aw, I appreciate the, um (ew!)...generous offer...but I'm working on a plan. If NoYouAre can make it with a new born, I'm sure I can bribe a teenage girl somehow. (Anyone know a really cute 16-19 year old boy with poor enough social skills that I can trust him with my sister? C'mon indiefans, surely I've come to the right place.)

Sorry -- you're about four years too late. Although I still fit the remaining criteria.

I was just knocked flat by the mental image of NYA spinning around and throwing his beret into the air.

I think I'm going to use up the few days of vacation I have from last years work, and go catch the show in Montreal the night after Toronto. I don't know where that venue is, so I may have to do a bit of work...but it will get done. Oh, yes it will!

I just have a hunch that the venue will be somewhere in Montreal. Hope that's helpful. Bon voyage.

Montreal, like Toronto, is actually made up of a bunch of little boroughs. So it's completely possible it's not in Montreal at all!

Edit: yup. In Montreal. Capacity of 250 people. Small place. Sounds like my type of venue. I can't wait! Trying to entice friends in Ottawa to make the trek with me!

Keep an eye on Rotate This!'s website (www.rotate.com/tickets.php) . I wouldn't be surprised if they show up there soon. If not, then I suppose there'd no advance.

Does anyone know where to get tickets to the St. Louis show. The only place I've seen it referenced is on the Barsuk site. It's not even listed on the menu at Blueberry Hill.
