Long winters?

Can't abide them. Frost and whatnot. That dreadful white stuff. You know, it's damp, it freezes -- snow. Won't have it. Not at all.

Do I need a muffler and snowshoes to participate here?

John Vanderslice will probably come up from time to time here. His stuff is pretty great.

He's also on Barsuk and has a really great web site with many wonderful legal MP3s of swell bands like Spoon, Beulah, and Death Cab for Cutie.

He's also a pretty nice man.

Winter certainly is a rather pointless season if you cannot go skiing (i.e. if you live in a landscape that's just flat as flat can be).

its amazing...so many people despise the heavens dandruff in every possible way...yet ski/snowboard resorts spend thousands of dollars on equiptment that makes heaps and heaps more of the stuff---even in good old freezing connecticut where we have snowdays in march!

you know what intresting about winter i only like until it comes then i can not wait til simmer yah know, summer is neat, basically cuz i drink lots of soda and eat lots of ice cream and thats the life.
