from the official Castle Clinton National Monument website:

How may we assist you?
The National Park Rangers and maintenance staff at Castle Clinton are there to serve you. Whether it is a medical emergency, lost child, or just need directions, you will always get service with a smile.

service with a smile? doesn't sound like NY

Ein Konzert! You know what that means. You and me. Roadtrip!!

Okay just kidding, I'm afraid I won't be able to afford the flight overseas... even tho I'd love to visit NY again, I have a couple of friends there I should visit :)

Brooklyn Vegan says (and numerous other blogs):

THE LONG WINTERS
Hailing from Seattle, renowned singer/songwriter John Roderick fronts this creative and insightful band. The Long Winters are known for its personal and powerful lyrics, as well as its diverse, vibrant and sophisticated melodies.
*Tickets will be distributed two per person, outside Castle Clinton on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 5:00pm on the day of the show.
FREE. .

I love how many musicians use airport codes instead of city names!

So what's with all those shows, you got a new record or something?... :->

Seeing this thread reminded me that I haven't been to a show since August! Ridiculous! July 5th will be a happy day.
