Yeah I saw the word, "test" and I got all nervous figuring he was going to make me steal gold coins from from an elf-protected fortress or some shit. And like, you know, I'm dealing with that kinda 3rd level drama all the time.

Sometimes I gotta make time for me. Just saying.

I was wondering the same thing, but also hoping that between y'all posting updates and the facebook group the google group would be redundant. Because I'm lazy and don't feel like figuring out how to signup :)

On the frontpage of the website (http://www.thelongwinters.com/) scroll to the bottom.
You'll see "Subscribe to The Long Winters’ Mailing List".
Enter your email-address and click "Subscribe".

You'll probably have to confirm somewhere along the way, but I'm not sure 'cause it's been a while since I signed up myself.
I use a hotmail account, so it should be available for anyone, not just gmail users.

Yours,
Andra

you can also sign up directly from the Google group page by clicking Join this group on the right. If you want to receive the messages by e-mail, make sure to check one of the e-mail options, since the web-based option seems standard (or at least it was when I signed up).

On that page you can read old messages as well. Not unsurprisingly, the list is is the 'low activity' category, but it's quality, not quantity that counts.
