Sell me your tall chicken!!!!

Post by Harvey Winters »

I yelled this at the show in Brooklyn...

John yelled back: "Our tall chicken is no longer for sale"!!!

I asked him what that line meant and he told me to post my
question and he'd reply...

So here it is...

A Mr. Vanderslice once told a few of us not to give our chickens away for free. Perhaps this chicken-selling is a Barsukian rite of passage.

The protagonist of the song is appraising a small group of shopkeepers/clerks in preparation for putting his criminal enterprise into action. He is cocky. He refers to his intended victims as 'chickens' for some reason, known only to him. He believes that one of them is corrupt. Why he thinks this isn't clear. The corrupt one is taller than the rest.

After my futile attempt to think of a smart answer to this post I'd just like to say it's good to see you're back. Hope that you're all well and that the tour was filled with fun and chicken-ness.

A few friends believe that Sean is the "tall chicken" and that the song
is LW talkin' HD smack...

Your response?

Yeah, no joke. His hair is godlike. I was going to try to sneak him out of The Shelter under my shirt and take him home. So much for that idea! I'll have to devise another plan for next time.

I saw Harvey Danger at this show in Florida and Sean looked amazing on stage. It was kind of a small stage, so his height gave him so much presence, nevermind that he absolutely rocks harder that any other person on the planet, although that may have helped.

When he was lead vocal in Outshined at the CD release party at the Croc, Sean PWN3D the stage...they're both really tall guys in 'real life'...'

I'd want them on my side in a 'Road House'-style bar fight!
