Indiepoplive: Seattle Music Scene 1995-2005

Post by indiepoplive »

For several years while going to school I recorded local bands and indie bands that passed through town. Since I think it was an important and underappreciated time in rock music history, I have decided to make my recordings available to the public. These are bootleg recordings, so results may vary. Some of the earlier recordings were done on cassette recorders or open air mics. The newer stuff was recorded digitally from the soundboard.

Western State Hurricanes: Live At The Beatbox, Seattle, WA November 22, 1998.

I'm still waiting for the new version of Through With Love.

You and me both. I've hounded him about it many times! :)

I've cherished this bootleg since I downloaded it many years ago from your site, it's so interesting to hear what preceded the Long Winters. Although, contrary to your feelings, I am of the opinion that TLW beats WSH, but perhaps that comes from what I knew first.

Cool that your site's still running!

I swear to you that our performance that night at the Beatbox was the worst of our short career. One day I will dig up those WSH archives for y'all. But not today.
