John is Running for Seattle City Council

John has confirmed the rumors that he is running for the Seattle City Council: http://www.thestranger.com/blogs/slog/2 ... uncil-seat. I'm not surprised that John is getting involved in politics but I am surprised that he is actually running for office.

Wow, that's sure to spawn a lot of 'that might keep us waiting for a new Long Winters record' comments ;-)
