TLW to Appear at Rainn Wilson's Charity Fundraiser

Postby pahouk » Tue Oct 05, 2010 4:29 pm

According to the Seattle Weekly, TLW are scheduled to appear at Rainn Wilson's charity fundraiser on 10/23/2010: http://blogs.seattleweekly.com/reverb/2 ... _for_r.php. It sounds like a fun show and it raises money to help women and girls worldwide. Good show and good karma.

Just a quick recap of the show. They played Blue Diamonds, Commander, and New Girl. Rainn was a very funny emcee. He said he was a big fan of TLW and he had requested Commander because it's one of his favorite songs. Jason Finn sat in on the drums. Andy McKeag joined them for Commander and New Girl. For New Girl Sean Nelson and Chris Ballew also joined in. For the finale Rainn had changed the words to the Kinks' song Lola to be about Mona (the name of the charity) and everyone came out and sang. A great show for a great cause.

Actually it was a chorus of "No, you are" from everyone to everyone. Chris ran out into the audience while singing and concluded by announcing "John, they all are" about us.
