New Long Winters Drummer?
Shelby Earl has told the Seattle Weekly that John was trying to steal her drummer: http://blogs.seattleweekly.com/reverb/2 ... ng_win.php. I don't know how serious she was but has there been any speculation about new members?

I will gladly join in any speculation game, if that means we can also speculate about new live dates, and (dare I say it) a new European tour. There, I have said it.

I thought that was an odd article, it kinda read like an indie rock gossip column.
Re: New Long Winters Drummer?
from the article:
"In the meantime, Hudson is busy readying the release of the next Whalebones record. And we assume Roderick is working on a release from The Long Winters."
why would they assume that? at this point i assume john is working on making his own twitter client..

I guess they use the word 'assume' because 'hope' doesn't sound too credible for a journalist, even if it's ironic city gossip journalism...
