John will be appearing at Wootstock on 7/21/11 in San Diego: http://w00tstock.net/news/. Wootstock and Comic Con in the same city at the same time? San Diego may explode with that much nerdiness.

woot.

with all these short comedy show appearances, I'm becoming a bit nostalgic for the days of 2 hour Long Winters shows. I know, I'm getting old and nostalgic.

Video of John performing The Commander, with Paul Sabourin (vocals), "Storm" DeCostanzo (vocals, guitar), Molly Lewis (vocals, ukulele), Mike Phirman (bass) and Jason Finn (drums), posted by a NASA engineer attending the show:

Warning: if you're prone to seizures, dizziness or light-headedness, listen to the above video, but sure don't watch it.

Heh that's what I was doing while I was working on something else, so I had no idea the visual quality of the video was a little... questionable :)
