i hate myself for doing this
but i just wanted to call y'all's attention to my tour diary, on the main section of the site. i do this not (solely) because i am desperate for your collective approbation, but because it occurred to me that many of you may have bookmarked the message board. there. that's all. tour diary. for the tour that happened two months ago. slow and steady wins the race.

surrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Well considering you're only one part 2 of 5, us people whom are of the comic variety (who needs descriptive words, when you can have PICTURES!) are waiting for you to complete the remainder of it, and then have a full-length, all-in-one mast volume, as to maximize reading pleasure, while minimize potential frustration and mental aguish.
haha
eagerly awaiting the third installment...

y'all need to update that thing more and write less articles about how uncool it is to keep online diaries. ;)
oops! did i just say that?
diary entry Columbus
It's interesting, it didn't occur to me really that the Columbus crowd was that enthusiastic, I thought they were okay but could have done more...
But then if there's anything I've learned this summer it's that the "best" audience isn't necessarily one where everyone's just clapping along......
The Columbus show was definitely great tho, I fully agree :)

So don't bug Sean; bug me.
Actually, don't bug me either, come to think of it. Just relish the delicious anticipation. :)
<strike>*bugs Merlin*</strike>

Even those of us who are of the comic book reading variety (I'd say, who wants pictures if you can have descriptive words; I mean, read that Canadian customs story and you'll get the picture!) may have had enough time now to be ready for part 3.
But hey Bladey, maybe John & Sean can take a digital camera to Europe so their next tour diary can be a photo comic.

second class, not freight
No truly memorable adventures were had, eh?
Yeah, I see how it is.
The ::cough:: source in Milwaukee's good authority for SM&J playing another (chronological!) all-Pavement set in Mpls actually came from the almighty SM himself, though apparently he was not a reliable enough source of such information.
Just saying.
I still feel kinda terrible.

or maybe...just maybe...

they can take me. think of the photo possibilities: john depantsing street mimes in paris, eric autographing the nearly-exposed breasts of tittering fan-girls in amsterdam, michael secretly replacing sean's sunblock with nutella, sean wondering why people keep wanting to lick him...
oh, and the shows...the shows.
