I haven't delurked before now, because I've been waiting for the right moment. Sean, I think your tour diary is an awesome addition to the site, especially for all your fans that appreciate your particular brand literary thunder. Or some shit like that. I especially appreciated the tour entry about Chicago. I remember quite clearly waiting for the right moment to start up a mix of Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, and all the usual suspects as I entered Chicago for the first time. Ain't that a man indeed. . .

well, seeing how both John and Ryan are from a country known for its law suits - about lesser things than misquoted lyrics and references to a chocolate/hazelnut product (however tasty it may be), I think it might be less than healthy to claim any rights here...
b.t.w., did you know that the french put Nutella on their pancakes?
this reader wonders where the fabled post-Bowery Ballroom show "afterparty" was held. i was staying in alphabet city on ave. c, comfortably fenced in by three loud bars (they lulled me to sleep every night). sad to think that there was potential long winter-age in a street nearby -- especially since we were having a tiny meeting of the barsuk mafia @ the time. (:
Thanks for the kind words in the tour diary. However I'm far from "Big and scary". I could have easily chewed one of your shoes as you slept on my favorite couch, and would it kill ya to carry a milkybone or two?
