i couldn't get into new pornographers - a half hour before the show the venue was at capacity and had a line with another 75% capacity stretching around the PNB building.

so i got in to long winters. i was the guy with the bright orange backpack, razorart shirt and the kickin' rad aviator glasses. chances are you didn't see me!

some friends commented that they liked the band. i thought that was fitting and proper. great show, even better than the croc one. the banter was up to par as well! ;) deck shoes rock, although i couldn't grab any photos of said shoes while john was getting rid of the stage pebble.

i'm currently considering living out the lyrics to 'stupid'. we'll see how that works.

In my head I was going "PARTY FOUL! PARTY FOUL!"

Bride and Bridle was beautiful. I think that was the best I have heard it done so far. Very haunting I thought.

dont forget the screaming girls and the female attention all around!

That was so weird! I have never seen it like that before. They're like sex symbols! lol

My favorite was the girl who was having them sign her jeans...
John "What is your mom going to think?"
Young girl "I dunno, we'll find out."

depends on where you were standing...?

By the way is it only me or was it a bit too early to alienate the European fanbase...? :)

sort of just-left-of-center, nearer the entrance. sort of near the short section of crowd that all cheered at once, but farther back & to the right. god knows if that cleared things up.
