John Roderick Opening for PUSA 02/17/2012

Post by Unremarkable »

Hey, unless I missed something, I got to this first!

It would appear that John is opening (with No Fi Soul Rebellion) for The Presidents of the United States of America at PUSA Fest at the Showbox Market. The second time I ever saw The Long Winters was when they opened for PUSA at Snoqualmie Pass at the foot of a ski slope (no joke). I am so excited to see them paired up again, I can't wait for this! I'm guessing tickets will sell out, so buy them now while you can!

That's still one of my favorite TLW bootlegs ever!

mine too!

a few years ago a PUSA fan who runs a fansite got in touch with me because he found this show on my library site and he didn't know about it. I guess ski areas aren't your average show venues...

Bit late but my quick review of Friday's show. When PUSA Fest was shrunk to two days I think everyone's sets got shortened so John didn't play for very long. Also not a lot of banter between songs. I'm bad at set lists but I think this was what John played (but not necessarily in this order):

Carparts
Pushover
Cinnamon
Not Moving to Portland
Sway (on ukelele)
King of Carrot Flowers (also on ukelele)
New Girl
