Campaign to Bring TLW to London

I'm not entirely sure how this works but it looks like you can make a pledge to bring The Long Winters to London : https://detour.songkick.com/artists/97516. If they get enough pledges they will try to book the show. Has anyone heard about this before?

I had a look around the website, and it's pretty new, since around August of this year - although their concert-warning service has been around a good deal longer. I think it's a great idea, hopefully they will expand to other European countries if this works. Not sure how they make money off it though...
