Woww thank you so much for sharing this--totally made my day! Brilliant.
How much time did it take you to draw the comic?

Re: RotL Comic Book!
I'm so glad everybody likes it!
Disclaimer: Sorry there's so many walls of text. I edited the transcript only lightly, but didn't want to change what was written, so it's sort of a long read. Maybe just listen along (initially I developed the art in pieces to be a motion comic, but that plan didn't work out so I reformatted everything into comic form.
It took a while! My co-conspirator pitched the idea before going on a cruise, so by the time she got back I had a large chunk of (the originally planned art) done, and then as I reformatted it to a comic book, I kept finding things I needed to add, sneaking in other references, realizing I needed more buildings, and then all that text. Labor of love! If I were to have sat down and made a concentrated effort it probably woulda taken a month. I picked at it when I could, got busy with other work, Welsh trolls and such, but in a flurry of activity made sure to have it ready for TLW reunion for the Barsuk anniversary (all bagged and boarded and ready to go!). I had to mail Merlin a copy, but was able to give John his copy in person! So, it ended up being made over the course of about 6 months.
For ages in the podcast and Cruise panels and such he'd talk about comics, and at some point said (I think at least twice) that he wanted a comic of his life, and that he wanted it to just magically appear in front of him. So. We made it happen!
I hope it soothes some of the merch cravings people have for RotL. FREE STUFF!
