is it just me or is blanket hog the november rain of indie rawk?

starts out soft and mellow and ends with a symphony hitting a brick wall ... yep that sounds like it to me.

What does np mean?

I love the trashcan sinatras and "I've seen everything" is my favorite trashie album....but I've never actually met another fan in my entire life.

wowzers....this board gets surreal sometimes.

My wild guess would be Now Playing.

Ah yes... Now Playing. Betty is a flake sometimes.

The Trashcan Sinatras are five piece out of Scotland, of the britpop persuasion. They are awesome because the lead singer's voice is gorgeous and the arrangements are also gorgeous.

The songs are slightly dark. They aren't super hooky though, which might explain why no one has ever heard of them.

I bought "I've Seen Everything" when I was 15 completely randomly in a cd store. I just shortcircuited on my way to buying a "Garbage" cd, and instead bought the Trashies, the Pet Shop Boys, and, of all things, the Alan Parsons Project. So the Trashies are also awesome for saving me from being a Garbage cd owner.

I've never run into another person who mentioned them randomly. In fact, I've never met anyone who's heard of them somewhere other than through me, except on their mailing list. It's amazing.

I've only heard two people ever mention the Trashcan Sinatras. And I don't really know them. This is a crazy day indeed.
