Fire Island, AK Bass

Postby Kizzle » Sat Apr 28, 2007 9:27 am

I've been working on Fire Island's bass for a while now, and after 3 different ways of playing it I'm pretty confident that I got it right.

Try it for yourself, feel free suggest corrections.

I'm not sure how the fills go, So post those if you have em'.

G|--------------------------------------------------||
D|-----------5--5--5--5---------------------------||
A|-------------------------5--5--5--5--------------||
E|-5-5-5-5-----------------------------8--8--8--8||

that'd be my guess for the verse
edit: if you wanna slide, playing the g and the c on the A-string might be better.

I'm pretty sure Eric plays this on more than the E string. I'll have to try this some day.
