Perfect album order? Gotta go with Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". Also, any Roxy Music album. (Good call on "Court and Spark" -- brilliant!)

I don't really think it's easy to try and decide what the songs meant to the person who wrote them because I firmly believe that part of what's so amazing about music is that we, the listeners, always project our own feelings and past experiences onto the songs that we listen to. That's what makes it so great. Someone out there hears Shapes and thinks about how huge a bastard their father is while somewhere else remembers their first girlfriend/boyfriend. I think that the order of the songs on each album becomes a story that everyone personally creates in their own mind like bladerunner did. I don't really know where I'm going with this, So I'll stop now.
