You have every right to be angry. Diabetes is really ugly. I have to say I underestimated it myself, like most people. You think it's "just" a huge inconvenience in your life until someone close to you gets affected and you notice it can be really dangerous.

sorry, i hadn't read this thread and came across that gem and had to offer my two cents comment. living in the desert offers only so many memorable vistas and that sign is one of my favorites.
