Some still-frames are up from the Showbox show:

The filesize of all the footage is ridiculous, so I couldn't post anything close to full-resolution - but these should give you an idea of what we're working with. It's going to be great.

Is there any news on this or the Showbox show DVD? The last production update was in May, and even that was only pictures (which looked fantastic!). The last real update was back in March.

Someone out there has to know something. Right?

My lack of updates shouldn't be confused for a lack of effort or headway - quite the opposite actually. So much has been done, and I just didn't want to update for the sake of updating - I wanted to update when I was DONE.

Most of the show has been edited, and all of it will be by the end of the week. To say that it looks amazing is an understatement. You'll get to see all the sweat and hear all the love you've come to expect from a real-live Long Winters show, only this time at home on glorious DVD.

Soon it will be mastered. Then it will be duped. Finally it will be released. We're close. Really.

Invite your friends over to watch it, and like a vacation time-share solicitation gone bad, lock the door behind them and don't let them leave until the final jumping-into-the-air-and-windmilling-the-last-guitar-chord of Chicago's "Feeling Stronger Everyday" is hit.

A sizeable update with more specifics is forthcoming, and will be made here and at dorsiafilms.com. Just hang on...and thanks for your patience. It'll be worth the wait.

I hope you didn't mistake my eagerness for impatience! I was merely curious, very much looking forward to it.

The preview to the live show is now on the site: http://www.dorsiafilms.com

Hopefully I didn't f anything up; it's been a long day of compressing and coding.

I was at that show! I totally don't remember seeing Ben screw up, that's hilarious.
I'm excited for this dvd thing.

So is this going to be released by Barsuk?

I'm glad you didn't use any extreme close-ups where you can see people's tonsils when they're singing (no offense to John's tonsils, I'm sure they're awesome, I just don't need them on DVD).
This is looking great!

Seriously. That's the last known footage of John's missing tooth. It deserves it's close-up. ;)

The footage looks amazing!
