How does that work when you call places with menu options?

Then your finger's on the pulse, in more ways than one.

Haha. I didn't say it...

"I am working on a new record right now," [John] told [Seattle Weekly], "PLUS a children's book, a book of short stories, and I'm raising badgers for their milk."

"Press 7, or just stay on the line, and someone will assist you, shortly"...

[...]I was more comfortable chatting amiably with Alan Parsons than I would have been smoking a "jay", or doing "the frug", with most of the bands who are nominally my peers in the music world. For that reason alone I hereby promise to make the next Long Winters record sound like a thousand weasels being shot out of a cannon.

Hmm. I wonder what that sounds like. Having no basis of comparison, my imagination falters..

Dude!!!
I saw that episode of "The Soup"!!!

Seriously, "Don't Answer Me", was one of my faveorite songs, in the 80's...
I think the 45 is still at my mom's house...

Wow, Alan Parsons! I was 12 when Eye in the Sky came out and I think this was the first time I played an album over and over (I actually had my brother record it on tape front and back after I got bored with rewinding my tape every night).

I had no idea he had recorded all these famous bands though, and totally had him down for being American... the latter could be because I read all the Little House on the Prairie books during one school holiday, with this one tape as musical background. I must admit that later on I would think of his music as somewhat of a guilty pleasure - in the black 80s and indie 90s it was not very hip to admit liking such dramatic stuff.

oh man, in HS I thought his Edgar Allen Poe themed album was the coolest thing ever. I wonder if I still have it.... haha!
