John's Missing Tooth To Make Cameo At Sonic Boom

Postby sour29 » Thu Apr 17, 2008 7:20 pm

One of these days, this title will stop being funny. Today is not that day.

According to Barsuk, John is celebrating the first annual Record Store day -- a great day to celebrate, I might add -- by DJ'ing a very special set in the heart of S-town.

# John Roderick (The Long Winters) DJ set at Sonic Boom (Capitol Hill) in Seattle, WA at 3pm

I'm pretty happy that this thread title has become a repeat title.

I'm just trying to keep up with the latest in fashion. But if you want to call it flair that's fine with me.

I like it. It's like a tribute to either a) Corporal LeBeau on Hogan's Heroes or b) the Guardian Angels.

I go with the latter, being a strong proponent of any kind of NYC circa early 80's vibe.

I thought the first picture looked a bit like Sam Kinison, but clearly he died before the advent of terrible camera phones. A Disc Camera, perhaps?

Yes! I knew it was someone I was being reminded of, but could not remember who. Sam Kinison. A thin Sam Kinison.
