You can download mp3's of three of the songs from the show on Barsuk's website.

Last night, my mailbox was full of DVD goodness.

And with today being full of icy-snowiness, thus canceling the little one's kindermusic class, I might have to pop it in and give her a little "home school".

Yay! Amazon order arrived today! Sweet. I can't wait to watch it.

First, I noticed the Gibson Pure logo on the back... Gibson have some sort of sponsorship deal here?

I bought it today from Sonic Boom Records in Ballard, and am watching it right now! Now playing is Rich Wife. Sounds great!

you guys! really. it was, no joke, a pleasure and a privilege to watch & review. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did, and that you can, um, keep your proverbial panties on. I almost couldn't.

Has anyone else watched it with the commentary yet? Pretty entertaining and some interesting information. Plus, a couple board members get name-checked!

Listening to it now! I totally got name-dropped by my main man J-Roth. Cool beans!

Having a good laugh. Commentary track totally adds to the show.

EDIT: Since someone's bound to do it, let it be me...

John totally rats out Sean Nelson for loving the sound of his own voice. He will only find out by googling his own name.

not to be a picky jerk, but does anyone know why "(it's a) departure" is called "good girls" on the dvd case?
is there some kind of story there?
i'm all confused!
otherwise: the most awesome dvd ever.

Good Girls was the original (and perhaps still internal?) name for (It's A) Departure. And it takes up less room.

Good catch! No one noticed it was called Good Girls on the cover art until after it had gone to press. I think it was Jonathan who picked it out. Sour is correct that we often write it as "Good Girls" on our setlists, and maybe Adam took the name from there? It's funny that no one in the whole Barsuk/LW's organization caught it until it was too late.

After working with printed/published media for years, it doesn't surprise me at all. You always do your best proofreading AFTER it is done.

I could look at a media guide for months and pour over every page repeatedly, but the minute it came back from the printers I could open it and instantly find some sort of mistake. I actually dreaded looking at them when they came back for that reason.

My copy of the setlist says otherwise, although, it's kind of funny how that song has had different titles. eMusic first released it as 'Good Girls' on one of the live shows it was a part of (Live at the Casbah), then PTDTB has it correct, as does the Ultimatum vinyl, then Burn to Shine has it listed as just 'Departure.'

I was particularly captivated by the tinting history of the glasses...
Actually, I was glad to have the opportunity to hear chit chat from eric and j-roth.

If you could add posts to favorites on this board, I would have to fave this one.

Well Amazon gives me Jan 6, 2009 as an estimated arrival date for my copy. They probably assume that in Europe stagecoaches are still the preferred means of transportation.

Amazon told me mine would come on December 30th, and it arrived this past Monday. Don't believe that estimated arrival date business.
