Living Dangerously
This is Harvey Danger related, but I thought people here might get a kick out of it. It does have a cameo from "'Long' John Winters" and former TLW keyboardist Chris Caniglia. It was a featurette on the (awful) movie Soul Survivors.
It's pretty freaking funny.

This is excellent. I think Jeff is the most convincing out of the bunch.

Re: Living Dangerously
It is so weird seeing John without hair all over.
Re: Living Dangerously
1. That is hilarious.
2. Jeff J Lin's bit is Price-less.

Re: Living Dangerously
Wow. That is fantastic.
If "The Land of Women" had something like that I might not have regretted wasting an hour and a half of my life watching it.

Ah, so nice to see Chris Caniglia again!
Re: Living Dangerously
At the time we all thought it was funny and that we were being funny. Then we watched Jeff Lin and we were destroyed. He KILLED it.

Re: Living Dangerously
I don't think anyone is going to argue on that point, JR.
Re: Living Dangerously
More John with HD, this time on national TV even! A generous soul from the HD board uploaded this:

Aw look at the shockingly organized hair. And Sean's chops! Wild.

Now you see where Colin Meloy got his "look".

Re: Living Dangerously
so does the perilous music refer to those sharp chops, or the nails, perhaps?

The story behind this performance is great, and is part of the documentary.Moni wrote:More John with HD, this time on national TV even! A generous soul from the HD board uploaded this:

Re: Living Dangerously
Woah. Somehow I'd never seen this before. Thanks to the Danger-er who uploaded this!
Re: Living Dangerously
I'm glad you guys liked the clip! I was 100% endeared by it too. The muttonchops in particular killed me.
Although I uploaded it, I can't take credit for the tape itself--that comes courtesy of another Harvey Danger fan who'd been hanging onto it for years, without a way of converting it from VHS to digital video. In the spirit of brother-band-solidarity, 'll make the same offer here that I did on the Harvey Danger message board: if you've got any old VHS tapes of television TLW (or intersection-of-TLW-and-Harvey-Danger) appearances that aren't already online, but no way to get them from VHS to YouTube, feel free to send them to me and I'll convert them and send the tapes back. (I know I'm an unknown quantity on this board, but the Harvey Danger folks who are also here can vouch for me.) :-) Shoot me an e-mail at scottique@gmail.com for my mailing address. I've already got another old VHS on the way from another HD fan, and if John pops up on it, I'll make sure to let you guys know!
