Re: NY resolutions
I don't think anyone here wants to.... by they way, I think it's rather suspicious John hasn't showed up here since we brought up the chicken subject again. Very suspicious.

Re: NY resolutions
If there is one thing I know, it's Chicken Superfectas.
Re: NY resolutions
After several hours of careful consideration, I'm going to have to go with a Faverolle.
This is a risky move as most people who wear braces would stray from a breed with lots of small fluffy feathers.
HOWEVER. I think we all know that Captain Jack enjoys sticking two fingers up at fate. And his orthodontist. So I'm going for it.
PayPal, right?

"Chicken Superfecta" would be a great punk album name.

Re: NY resolutions
I think I read that Shawn Wolfe is doing the artwork for the new album, perhaps as the ultimate middle finger it could be something like this:
http://shawnwolfe.com/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=album27&id=CNAD
For the record, I won't be taking part in this bet - partly because I'm saving my money as the calculating Dutch person that I am, partly because any kind of encouragement of eating live chicken doesn't fit in with my veggie lifestyle. Mostly the former: John said the record would be done in ... (enter any old year) and that didn't happen either. We will probably still dream of this elusive album when we're in old folks' homes and internet is something old-fashioned from the beginning of the century.

Ah and here I thought I was the only one having that fantasy!

Re: NY resolutions
Have we ever considered the possibility that John died years ago and all this Twittering, You Tubing, and "working on the new album" has been an elaborate Weekend at Bernies style ruse?

Re: NY resolutions
Well, he was very much alive last year when I was in Seattle, and I saw him tweet stuff myself. Without wanting to sound obnoxious, I also heard several new tracks; all without vocals however. Perhaps it will become an instrumental album?

Re: NY resolutions
John could release the instrumental album and we could add our own vocals?
Re: NY resolutions
Soo. 2012 is here; the new TLW album isn't.
