Congratulations, John!
According to his Twitter account John is now a DAD! I have this vision of future John sternly telling his teenage daughter that "It's alright to be a singer. But don't you love a singer, whatever you do." Congratulations to everyone!

For serious?
Well, John, if you need stay-at-home-Dad advice, you know who to call.
But don't worry, it wasn't until the second girl that I pretty much disappeared from the board for months at a time.

Re: Congratulations, John!
Yay, congratulations on a lovely daughter.
Not sure about the merits of his poop posts, but it may be a fase, and otherwise perhaps it's best to steer clear of his twitter and facebook until she is potty-trained.
:-)
Steve Earle used to tell a story on stage about his son, who found it difficult to rebel against a rock 'n roll dad with a past of drug addiction and jail and 5 marriages. In revenge, Earle's son took up golf as a hobby. The deadpan punchline of the story went something like this: "My son made me drop him off at the golf course, which I hated. But it was worth it just to see the club members' reaction to a teenage kid with green hair."

Congratulations. Very exciting news. Love kids. My eldest is 20 this year. Where the hell did all that time go? Treasure every minute.
