A Few Bumbershoot Pics

Postby myxomateo » Sun Sep 07, 2003 4:55 pm

Yoyo-

I've got a couple of my pictures from the bumbershoot show up here: http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=333359

If i get a good response, i can post more (got another fifty or so random ones...)

Certainly not great pictures... especially by my standards (crappy camera).. but they illustrate the show decently.

I cannot wait for the next all-ages show so that i can bring my real camera gear and get good, clear and sharp pics.
Enjoy!

Ok, some modicum of the masses has spoketh. Thus more pics have been posted.
I won't be able to say how long they'll be available, so please feel free to copy them to your harddrive if you wish to keep them. Please do remember that they are of my own copyright! If you want to use them for anything (even posting them again somewhere) please get my permission - it should be pretty easy, as i just want to know where they go.
The ones posted are of my bare minimum quality control.. i havemore but they are simply toooo blurry to be interesting. These hardly pass, but some people might like to see them.
Please also take a look around my other photos... if you wish. Just click on my name.
Enjoy folks!
Matt

Did anyone grab any bootleg tracks?

With all the sophisticated recording equipment at the EMP, I find it hard to believe there isn't a copy of the Bumbershoot show floating around somewhere...

And what ever happened to the videographer who taped the CD release show at the Croc?

i'm wondering what happened to the bootleg made by the intense Japanese man at the Shins concert. he had a hardcore DAT tape rig, complete with little grain-of-sand mics in stereo on either side of his Mariners hat.

He looked like a bootlegging Ichiro, as a matter of fact.

That’d be very cool, I was wondering about that, too.

And thanks for the pics (hey I’ve seen worse! [i.e. my own]), it’s nice to see some

great pics, both of ya.
love the spacelike feel of some, pictures don't have to be clear to work.

but Eric, pray tell the story of the sandbag.
did it rock, was it a sold out performance, did you get an autograph?
details is what we want!

First real picture i've got up. Shot at the Crocodile show.
I'll repeat - i cannot wait to go to a show with my real gear to take real pictures!
Beware though : these pictures will not be up for long!

dude, i just got in a fight with one of my psychics. she accused me of pulling answers out of my &^%, just cause i told her something she didnt want to hear. dude, i try my hardest to tell the truth.

i so regret not going to bumbershoot, esp the long winters. i was pissy.
